Review #120 - @slowdazecoffee

Recently the blokes were stunned to hear that the team from Obi Coffee (currently ranked fifth on the brew rankings) have taken over West Leederville coffee window Myrtle Ivy (currently ranked second on the brew rankings). It’s like an NBA all-star game - the GOATS are playing together. The blokes could not have been more excited to try the result of this godly merger: Slow Daze.

Vibes 🍃- Hard to re-evaluate the vibes of a cafe we’ve already reviewed, but Slow Daze is sick. A really well-thought-out timber interior with plenty of cosy spots to park up. Even better, you can sit outside along the street - courtesy of the beautiful coffee window we know and love. Awesome place and awesome-r people.

Taste 👅- Arguably the most important category and one that rivalled the number one spot under the Myrtle Ivy name. We are pleased to say that this new custom Micrology Coffee blend does the venue absolute justice… What we guess to be Brazilian/Guatemalan/Ethiopian was delightfully smooth and tasted of a caramel and red cherry boat sailing through sea of milky chocolate goodness (trust us).

Temperature 🌡- Temperature was bang on

Glass Size 📏 – 6oz, perfecto

Froth 🥛 – Froth levels were near perfect, well done to the barista!

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Each bloke was lucky enough to get a beautiful tulip as their latte art design. top quality

Wowee, a huge score loading on the brewometer this week. Back in one of our favourite long mac regions (West Leederville for the geographically inclined), Slow Daze threw down 4 very impressive long macs. Us lucky blokes were treated to a brew that excited our taste buds and transported us into a (slow) daze. The perfect spot for a quick coffee pick-me up, but even better for sitting back, relaxing and enjoying one of those slow days (daze) with a brew in hand. Treat yourself and go give it a visit for us, we will certainly be back soon. Ta, Blokes.
