With one final breview (brew-review) for the year, the blokes reflected on 2024 with a whimsical sense of satisfaction. This year saw some incredible brews, and with the blokes stopping by at Somewhere in the Park, in Vic Park, there may just be room for one more…

Vibes 🍃

Somewhere in the Park simply stunned the blokes on the vibes front. A massive space with multiple levels, areas and distinct aesthetics all combine to create one huge great thing. Beautiful outdoor garden, fountains and all? Check. Cozy, smaller spaces with leather-bound chairs? Check. Lofty upper level overlooking the restaurant area? Check. Arcade? CHECK! Absolutely crazy just how much was going on in all the best ways. Big ups from the blokes :)

Probably our most consumed blend of our brewrny (brew-journey) – ‘Darkhorse’, by 5 Senses Coffee. This time it wasn’t super obvious with the blokes scratching their heads on what was in the cup… started slightly astringent but really opened up to be a sweet LongMac that rivalled some of the best we’ve had this blend extracted (one bloke even coming back for a second)!

Todays review can best be summed up in the following quote “Somewhere (in the park) you will find me, caught beneath a landslide, in a long Mac supernova in the sky” - Oasis. Wowee this place is sick, an insanely cool vibe with a bunch of different areas to explore and enjoy. The coffee certainly did the job, and made us some happy blokes.
