Review #137 – @parkside.coffee

2025 has officially kicked off and the blokes are back in the brewmobile hunting Perth’s finest quality long macs. This year, the blokes’ resolution is to drink even more long macs than last year - which isn’t an easy feat! To get 2025 started, the blokes decided to go to a spot they’ve had their eyes on for some time, Parkside in Northbridge.

Vibes 🍃

Not many things better than a summer day in Perth soaking in the rays, clear blue skies above and a delicious long mac in your hand. Dine-in wise, you’ll find some crates, logs and natural seating around however we strongly urge you to bring a picnic mat and really buy into the ‘Parkside’ feel. We are unsure how this works on rainy days or in more miserable weather conditions, that would be our only qualm.

Taste 👅

Delightful drop by ‘Daylight’ coffee roasters that we believe to be a blend from PNG. Really lovely taste profile – sweet caramel, milk chocolate and apricot that was a super easy sipper. Had a nice velvety body that the blokes thoroughly enjoyed. We’ve heard rumours that the baristas use a Moonraker distribution tool in every coffee which might be contributing to this awesome extraction… best we’ve had all year!

Temperature 🌡

These brews were at a very sippable temperature, kudos.

Glass Size 📏

Sadly missing in the glass department, but the ratio worked here.

Froth 🥛

The blokes had to be detectives without the usual glass, but seemed good to us, perhaps a tad excessive.

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩

Some classic looking tulips, pretty sick if you ask us.

Well, that wraps up an epic brew at Parkside. The blokes loved the vibe here and have formerly decided that touching grass is so in for 2025. Do yourself a favour and find your self a shady patch of grass to enjoy a very impressive brew. Bloke the hell on, as they say.
