Review #139 – @newin.perth
- Blokes and Their Long Macs

On a peculiarly wet and humid Friday morning, the blokes headed over to Newin in Nedlands to have a brew and enjoy the fantastic smell of fresh banh mi.
Vibes 🍃
Vibes at Newin were really cool. A small inside seating area with mood lighting, music and coffee decor to match made for a very nice space. Even with a steady flow of regulars, the interior felt spacious and intimate. The aforementioned whiff of banh mi was also a huge bonus.
Taste 👅
Our most sampled roaster in 2024, again showing why they are so popular. Pedalling 5 Senses Coffee’s ‘Crompton Road’ blend, expect caramel and chocolate malt over quite a full and creamy body. Nothing you probably haven’t tasted before; however, the temp really made it hard to get those notes we are used to (and craved). Whilst we don’t officially review Banh Mi’s, this place could have the best in all of Perth… you’ve got to try it for yourself!
Temperature 🌡
A little too hot

Arguably the best quality ❤️
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩
Nothing special, in fact nothing at all :(
Newin sure did deliver for the blokes this morning. Honestly, a Bahn mi and long Mac combo is the best to happen since Scott Boland. Whilst the blokes didn’t indulge in a Bahn mi on this occasion, boy oh boy did they look unreal. Till next time Newin, stay safe.
75.5/100 on the Brew ‘o’ Meter! 🤖🤝
