Review #143– Strollios Luncheonette

The blokes were just sitting around on Sunday, the morning passed, and lunchtime came around, we thought, “what could really make this day special?” The answer was a lunchtime Strollios breview, with a special guest! Today we were graced with the presence of Perth’s best and grooviest coffee loving DJ, @thescoreman. We fired up our brew mobiles, and took a stroll(io) into this cool lil spot.

Vibes 🍃

We were big advocates for Strollio’s Deli like interior. Jack especially was extremely impressed, making the comment that the cafe reminded him of a bus due to the vinyl fabrics of the chairs. Just an all around chill vibe which had awesome food we might add (we were extremely impressed with their Vegemite scrolls).

Taste 👅

Peddling through the hoppers today was one of our absolute favourite blends from this journey. The Profiler blend by Twin Peaks. A delicious blend that offers tasting notes of chocolate, dried fruits and praline, however this was not the best we have had it extracted, a slight bit bitter and puckering for us, still pleasant though.

Not the 6oz glass we like, although definitely some interesting cups

It was nice to meet the Doorman today, surreal but nice. Whenever you meet Perth’s busiest DJ it’s always a time for celebration. Just as it is when you have an awesome long mac, which Strollio’s had in spades today. Just a real winner all around and I’m sure, like with the @thescoreman this is just the beginning of their come up. Get down.
