- Blokes and Their Long Macs

Being the martyrs of good health that they are, the blokes were thrilled to roll on down to the Clean Food Store in Subiaco to taste a brew or two.
Vibes 🍃
Immaculate vibes on display this week. The blokes felt healthier from the mere aura of the Clean Food Store. With a wooden fit-out lining the walls with a diverse and expansive range of nutrition products, the blokes were literally surrounded by the robust ambience of protein pancakes, spirulina and herbal teas (to name a few). Some beautiful sunflower art pieces on the walls capped off a lovely, comfortable vibe in which the blokes were overjoyed to bask.
Taste 👅
Today we returned to Melbourne based roaster Veneziano with their ‘Crave’ blend after a long time between drinks. As expected from our comrades over east, we had quite a traditional tasting profile, the dark chocolate flavour was prominent, and there was a lingering aftertaste that we couldn’t quite place. Whilst it might be some peoples’ cup of tea (coffee), we aren’t as much of a fan of the hype.
Temperature 🌡
Nailed this one ✅✅
Glass Size 📏
6oz glass (let’s go!)
Froth 🥛
Didn’t quite nail this one 😣
General Appearance/Consistency 🤩
Just below par, although we appreciated the 5 love hearts
Another one bites the dust with review #145 in the books. On our quest for greatness one thing that has become clear to us is the more skills the better. It is clear that Clean Food Store has a knack for many things. Not only do they have extremely solid coffee, but also a beautiful store with a variety of goods (Jack was extremely impressed with the Protein pancakes). So whether you’re up for a good brew, or maybe need to do a bit of shopping Clean Food Store will have your back. Peace out✌️
