Back in the brab (brew-lab), the blokes decided to run a few scientific tests on another highly requested heavy hitter of the Perth long mac game - L.A. Cafe in Leederville. One bloke even brought along his trusty thermometer. To brew or not to brew, that is the question...

Vibes 🍃- Café LA is off the charts when it comes to vibes, and it absolutely knows it… this new Leederville café on the famous Oxford St coffee strip epitomises perfect aesthetics with polished concrete, soft wood and influencer approved lighting. Put well by one of the blokes, “this place looks like it was in LA LA Land”, not that we’ve seen it of course, just heard things. Take your significant other if you don’t fancy eating your food whilst it’s still hot! 📷

Taste 👅- Our first-time tasting Perth based Italian coffee boutique, TORObLACK Co. The composition of this exclusive blend is shrouded in mystery, closely guarded like the undisclosed reasons behind the premium price tags cafes place on iced coffees (a topic for another occasion). Amidst the secrecy, discernible hints of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a delightful buttery undertone. A commendable blend, though it may not steal the spotlight.

Temperature 🌡- Was the exact play we drew up in the pregame. Meaning it was spot on.

Glass Size 📏 – Look. We asked, LA delivered. Not much more to say.

Froth 🥛 - Slightly robust froth, but u know what we’re all for it every now and then.

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – She definitely had something to her, nothing crazy but pretty good.

We certainly indulged in a (LA)vish taste bud experience this morning. Exquisite decor, wondrous aromas and a sublime colour scheme all leading towards a divine milieu for the residents of Leederville (and elsewhere) to enjoy. Stunning decorative cups, great brews, and even better company. Cafe L.A’s brew was enough to halt the wrath of Uni Exams for a short period. Eccellente!
