Review #86 – @itsoohcoffee

Hot brew summer has officially begun! The blokes unsheathed their dogs, packed their beach bags and wandered over to Ooh Coffee in North Fremantle to be among hip and trendy (shoeless) people. Huzzah!

Vibes 🍃- On Freo’s ever so iconic Queen Victoria Street, this café with an attached boutique/clothing store really hits it off in the vibes department. We were lucky enough to sneak a table outside and thoroughly enjoyed the ‘feel’ this place emits, it’s radiant, infectious, and somehow puts a smile on your dial. Importantly, parking is expansive and free which the rest of Freo could learn from.

Taste 👅- Plenty of coffee options available with a rotating shelf featuring some of WA’s best roasters. Our house blend today was a concoction from Loot Coffee, we couldn’t get the specifics, but it tasted Brazilian/Colombian with delightful notes of butterscotch, hazelnut, and peanut butter that the blokes thoroughly enjoyed. Shoutout to the handsome barista (pictured) for extracting these ‘Ooh’ so well.

Temperature 🌡- 5 LMs, 4 divine temps, 1 a touch under. They know what they’re doing.

Glass Size 📏 – A petite 6oz. Like a baby, either of the Lil or Da variety

Froth 🥛 - Literally Denzel Frothington. Frothing oath they were all lovely.

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – We hearted our hearts. Simple, basic but bloody satisfying. Did the job

These guys cooked. No question about it. Oohhhh baby they know how to design a cafe experience to knock your socks off. Ooh is the epitome of À la Mode, offering a very chic and friendly ambiance that’s very in style. If you swinging by the port city and a tasty brew is what you need, Ooh does it and more. Stop by and see for yourself!
