Review #93 – @cosbabyfreo

Another weekend rolls by, and thus the blokes make their weekly visit to yet another Perth brespensary (brew-dispensary). Back in Fremantle, a familiar yet ever-strange land of hippies and anti-vaxxers, the blokes continued their noble quest at Cos Baby…

Vibes 🍃- Hard to not enjoy the vibes anywhere in Freo on a lovely Sunday morning and Cos Baby was no different. A busy little café with plenty of family’s enjoying a nice brew and delightful brekkie options. Would’ve liked some music to lift the vibes, although it was in fact the first time all of us Blokes have enjoyed the same brekkie option – a pesto chicken bagel, could be an all-time bagel option and one every bagel enthusiast (like us) should try.

Taste 👅- Another hidden blend from part-time coffee roasters, full-time rock band legends Delinquent Coffee. It was super light and easy going like your favourite cousin at Christmas, but we wish it had bit more of an interesting character for us to catch up with them more often. Butterscotch with a light caramel finish, tasted a bit like a latte in that the milk really masked it… a 6oz would’ve helped 😉

Temperature 🌡- Put us in a real good spot, just gonna call it how we saw it.

Glass Size 📏 – We all felt this 8oz was too much, a 6oz would’ve been perfect for this bean profile.

Froth 🥛 – Froth was absolutely delectable if we’re being completely translucent.

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Everyone knows the way to a Blokes heart is a tub of protein powder. In saying that, 4 love hearts is probably the next best thing.

“Dayum baby, Cos Baby was dope” is a direct quote from our mouths after sitting down at this establishment. The coastal Fremantle mist added that extra spring in our step to delightfully sip upon this brew. Their Long Mac was on the weaker side with not a heap of flavour, but CheeHoo their Chicken Pesto Bagel will lure us there again. Blokes likey.
