Review #98 - @47kirwan_street_cafe

The thoroughly sought after review (mainly from @danielclayt0n) had finally come into brew-ition (brew-fruition). Our Saturday morning was spent in the beautiful Floreat sunshine, preparing for one of the Bloke’s 21st birthday party. The perfect pick-me-up needed for big night ahead. Apologies for anyone who wanted to have a drink Saturday night but couldn’t because we drank all the beers in Perth. Regardless, this has been a requested spot for many locals in the area so let’s see how they went...

Vibes 🍃- Nestled within the lush and gorgeous Floreat streets, lies fortysevenkirwanstreet. A hotspot adored by locals and craved by foreigners (non-GT folk). A beautiful location surrounded by gumtrees and green grass that George Ezra could write a song about. A family friendly location fit for coffee with your granny, catchups with a neighbour or taking the kids for a babychino. Not too many Harvey Spectres here!

Taste 👅- Toby’s Estate were back at it and boy did they deliver something interesting. An intense/omnipotent chocolate taste was the forefront of this blend with hints of dried fruits and butterscotch. More on the darker side we may add, if you were an Italian, this is the brew for you, for an Aussie, well it’s different. In Drakes words, ‘I’d do it’.

Temperature 🌡- Ripping. Absolutely ripping👍

Glass Size 📏 – Nothing to have dreams about... Is it marriage material, no? Maybe a short fling.

Froth 🥛 –Inconsistent on this front let’s be real. Luckily for Kirwan Street our friend Benji loves a frothy brew😎

General Appearance/Consistency 🤩 – Similar to Erling Haaland. No not his gorgeous blonde locks, the fact that he always scores, yes.

Well a two-bloke review can make our assessment tricky and somewhat questionable, but we backed ourselves in and were happy to have spent our Saturday morning at fortysevenkirwanstreet. A sneaky location in suburbia, great food, and a decent brew. For a non-specialty coffee joint, we left feeling fulfilled and the little sun in our heart grew a little bit bigger and burned a little bit brighter. Bravo.
